About Me

Hi. Hello. Nice to meet you.

My name is Rachel and I am addicted to helping others learn. My purpose in life is to inspire curiosity. I do this through my work of eLearning and Instructional Design. I like to think I have been in learning and development my entire career because my passion has always been to help others grow. Still, it officially started about 10 years ago. Over the years, I have worked on a variety of different projects ranging from process-based eLearnings to writing and drafting classroom-based learning. There is no project too big, and no idea too complicated for me to bring it to life through the materials I create.

In my free time, I love to create. I don’t have a chosen medium because I love all of them! From painting and crafting to DIY, I am always finding a fun activity to fill my time with. If I’m not creating away, I am spending time with the other loves in my life, my two dogs, Franklin(10) and Gus (1.5). They are Boston Terriers who love to run crazy around the house, wreaking havoc wherever they go. I blame the chaos on Gus, but Frank has been known to get up to some mischief too.

I also enjoy being outdoors. If it happens under the blue sky, I am generally up for the adventure. My pastimes include hiking and camping, stand up paddle-boarding, trail running, biking, and any additional water sport available depending on the season. Living in the great state of North Carolina, I have the opportunity to explore a lot of great trails across the Blue Ridge Parkway. There isn’t a mountain top in North Carolina that I haven’t been to the top of, and that’s a fact!

I’d love to talk with you and hear a little about what project you have that needs that next level flair. You can contact me here: info@rachelandrea.com
